At the lab:
My current research and development projects in the Garner Lab concern holographic image projection and hyperspectral imaging. We are developing a commercial 3d Holographic Projection system. We have produced holograms for viewing both by computer generation and by holographic recording. We are currently looking at encoding MRI and ultrasound images for 3D display. Another interesting project I am working on is using hyperspectral imaging to make stress measurements in materials that have birefringence properties.
My other scientific interests include holographic detectors, converting long or short wave EM holograms to visible 3d viewing, plasma processing of semiconductors and electromagnetic acceleration technology.

Outside of work:
I enjoy travel/sightseeing, college football and basketball games and major league and minor league (Frisco Roughriders) baseball games.
