Research Interests:
• Bioinformatics & Software development
• Molecular biology
• Drug testing

Current Projects:
• Analysis of IRIDESCENT predictions for etexx Biopharmaceutical
• FDA approved drug pre-clinical testing for new applications

Educational Background:
• MBA High Tech at Northeastern University (2005)
• Ph.D. (biochemistry/bioinformatics) University Lyon – FRANCE (2002)

Duties and Goals:
My main focus is to help etexx Biopharmaceuticals succeed in finding novel applications for existing drugs. IRIDESCENT is a data-mining software that determines implicit relationships between drugs and diseases. My role is to select possible drug candidates for new applications (particularly related to heart disease and neurologic disorders), and perform pre-clinical trials in models.
I also hope to be involved in the business development and licensing in and out strategy of Plurapharm.

During my spare time:
Enjoying my time with my wife (movies, restaurants, tourism, work-out). And now my two year old son Nael. I also plan on getting a private pilot license. I actually got my first PPL two years ago, however I couldn’t print it, since Microsoft Flight Simulator bugged at the last moment!
