Audience
The second most important question to ask is,

Who is your audience?

Is my audience going to be the general public? Other laboratories? Investors? What is their level of education?

If your purpose is commercial production of a product targeting young adults in the general public, then a name that is more fanciful or hip would be more appropriate and more likely to succeed. In contrast, if your purpose is to seek possible investors, then a name that demonstrates or implies what it is your company does may be more significant and meaningful.

These two questions,

What is your purpose? and Who is your audience?

will be used as a starting point in the design of every component. The answers to these questions are the foundation from which ideas are generated and directed.
